Today, I installed apache httpd web server on my phone.
In the google play store, search for http server.
After installation, the index.html file was visible to the world. No settings needed.
You need to know your phone's IP. My phone uses an IPv6 address. The format for IPv6 addresses to put in your web browser is: http://[2700:xxx....]:8000/ with 8000 being the optional port. The open and close square brackets seems necessary for IPv6 addresses.

I find this wikihow on how to read screw/bolt thread code very simple and informative.
All I wanted to know was what a marking on a pack of bolts meant. For example 1/4 20 1.5. I had guessed that the last number is probably the length by measuring the bolt. But the rest of it? Now I know it means: diameter of the screw or bolt, number of threads per inch and length of body.

On Monday, July 23, Sony announced a new stacked smartphone camera sensor with the highest-yet megapixel count, 48 megapixels, and a unique Quad Bayer array design. The move will allow smartphones integrating the upcoming sensor, the IMX586, to boost image quality with a unique design that Sony claims also produces good results in low light.

Walmart's new answer to rising costs is scan and go. You walk in and take a scanner and go get your items. You would scan each item with the scanner or app on your phone and then place them in the shopping cart. When you are done you would check out at a machine and show the recipe to the gest greeter at the door.

That's the size of a large grain of common table salt. You can put that anywhere. They propose usage in inventory control and tracking.
It could be equip with a solar cell and a communication module.

The Raspberry Pi Foundation has released a new pi on pi day (USA 3/14/2018). It has been two years since their last release, a Raspberry Pi 3 B.

* It's CPU runs at 1.4GHz vs the old one at 1.2GHz. Broadcom BCM2837B0, Cortex-A53 (ARMv8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.4GHz
* 1 GB LPDDR2 SDRAM
* The built-in wifi is improved at 2.4GHz and 5GHz. IEEE 802.11.b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, BLE
* Gigabit Ethernet over USB 2.0 (maximum throughput 300 Mbps)
Other specs are about the same.
The input power requirements are 5 Volts at 2.5 Amps DC. It uses much more energy than previous pis.
There is now support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), but it requires separate PoE HAT
